The Autumnal Equinox was at 5:51 A.M. EDT today. Autumn happens to be my favorite time of year – the warm summer days yielding to the cooler air seems to inspire me…and with so many things I want to accomplish a little inspiration is a welcome change.

For those that may not know, equinox literally means “equal night”. It’s the point of the year when the daylight and darkness are equal. From here on out the daylight will begin to give way to the night until the winter solstice when we will begin to gain daylight with each passing day.
